Bear sighting

Well about 7:00 am this morning my 15 year old nephew and I went fishing at the neighbor hood local ponds. I was tying on my pop'r, when JT said "look at the bear walking down the street!" Before I could dig my phone out of the pocket and try to get a pic, the bear disappeared in between to houses.
I start walking real fast down the sidewalk towards the back of the houses. I look back for JT and see he is already hiding in my truck!

LOL As I was turning back around, I see the bear is walking passed me at about 30 feet! I was able to grab this photo before he disappeared in some back yards.
The camera on my phone makes everything look farther away, does anybody else have this kind of problem? I wonder if I should get another phone?
