Since I changed my trolling batteries to Optima D34M's, I've been looking for a better battery tray. The one I have is the standard dual-27 tray with the plastic clips on the nylon straps. Even though the Optimas slop around in it a bit, they are pretty snug with the straps cinched down.
Still, I'd prefer a battery tray made specifically for 34's, but everything I find online is some gimmicky billet aluminum crap for tuner car owners looking to power their stereos...hideously expensive too. Have any of you boat gurus seen anything decent and fairly inexpensive for 34's? By the way...I am totally stoked about the new MarinCo (Guest) charge on the run system for 24V setups...that is going to really extend my trolling motor use. I actually ran my batteries down last weekend with CMorg to where my troller was clearly running slower.
