What type of line do you use for spinnerbaits braid, mono, or fluro. Also i once heard that braid with cranks or faster moving baits the bait will sometimes get pulled out of the fished mouth, would using a 20# leader cushin the hookset so it would eliminate this porblem.

It will eliminate the problem, but then it makes no sense to use the braid. For crankbaits(12#) and spinerbaits(12#-17#) i use mono or fluro

If im working a spinnerbait in heavy cover such as trees and grass ect. I use braid. But im working where theres not a lot of cover I use mono.

what does the type of line that u are using matter i use whats on my reel and then whenever i replace it i just buy whatevers cheap but around 10 pound test!! Just wondering, if you guys could help me out here that would be great!!

Some lines have more strech than others. Like braid has very little strech. but cheap cabelas pro line has a lot of strech. If your line has to much strech you wont get good hooksets. Some line nicks more than others. Use the line that does not nick easy in cover or anywhere for that matter.

dont do that chris... if you want mono, buy stren, trilene, or ande, or cajun. if you want braid, buy powerpro...i fish heavy cover all the time, so all my reels have 20lb powerpro on them. i do bring an extra spool with 10lb stren if i think im gunna be fishing lighter cover, or clearer water.

I'm pretty much a mono guy. i always have one rod with 30 lb power pro, but everything else is mono or flourocarbon. one spool on a spinning rod gets 8 lb Vanish, the other, 8 lb trilene XL. My 7' MH all purpose rod has 14 lb XT on it, my crankin stick has 10 lb XT , and another all purpose casting rod has 12 lb XT on it. Super abrasion resistant, but manages better than flourcarbon or copolymer, xt does.

Flourocarbon is a great choice.I also use Berkley mono.
