I'm heading up to my cabin in about 7 hrs. Just me and my dog. Hope the grass isn't to high cause I want to fish all weekend.

I get tuesday off from school for the county fair too! (See, there are advantages to going to redneck school!

I know the feeling Bigbassin144. I went to an agricultural school where I majored in equestrian managment but had classes such as livestock judging and showing. I used to get the entire fair week 'off' from school because students ran the cider stand, showed cattle/sheep, put our floral arrangements and bunnies in shows.. it was great. I was the only kid who actually enjoyed going to high school.

Yup, everyone have a fun and safe time. Have a cookout to go to today and gonna watch Notre Dame woop ***. Fishin tomorrow and grillin and havin a few cold ones on Labor Day.

Sadly I am in a similar situation. I am doing a complete network overhaul for a client so a 3 day weekend makes for the best time. I did get to wet a line for about an hour and a half this morning. I hope to do the same tomorrow, but not much fishing in my plans.

I went to birthday party to for my boy's friend today. My wife talked me in to going to the mall since Chucky Cheese is conveniently located in the mall. I feel as though she was pre-fishing for a tourney for the big show Monday. So I get baby duty Monday, while she shops. But I don't mind, I get next Friday for fishing. It will be the first trip since the baby was born, and about a month prior, so I am all jacked up. But also, everyone have a good day Monday and enjoy the long weekend to you Mon-Fri people. And be careful with that fluid on the pit.

Labor day kinda marks the end of summer, which here in the northeast is kinda bad...but with the cooler weather I'm thinking the pleasure boating slows down and the promises some better fishing! I'm thinking I likely won't put the boat up for winter till near the end of October.
