Age old mystery is no more!

Through time, many mysteries have stupefied mankind.

The building of Stonehenge and the pyramids.
Is there life after death?
Is Brett Fahvra gonna retire after this season?
Where is Hoffa's body?
Is Sasquatch for real?
Is Ross Perot actually the banjo player from Deliverance, all growed up?

But none of these really affect us on an individual level. Unless you're eatin Jack Link's jerky in the woods.

But the Sock Monster affects us all!

And that mystery has now been solved.

Just a few minutes ago, I opened up the washing machine to throw today's work clothes in, and behold!
Technically, it's not a sock but rather a dish rag. I think the socks were sendin him out for beer and he was caught with his socks down!

The only remaining question now is, is the washing machine actually eating them? Or are they tired of being on feet (or cleaning countertops), and have run away?
