Football jig. Hand tied. Round rubber skirt. Gamakatsu hook.
Anyone know a brand? Thanks. Looks like Skinny Bear is the one I've been looking for. Anyone know if River2Sea Touch Down is handtied and Gama hook? |

Wow, that is a toughy. I have found a couple I know of that are hand tied, but have silicone skirts and mustad hooks.

I think you're going to have to tie it yourself. I think River2sea has their own brand hooks. Check out Bass Patrol and Buckeye jigs. No gammies but good jigs none the less. Just read a Tackle Tour Test. Skinny Bear is about the only one.

The Buckeye Mop Jig is a good one. It has everything you want except the Gammy hook. The mops come equipped with Mustad flippin hooks instead. They are hand tied with the living rubber and come in football heads:
http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...006000_100-6-6 The skirts on these jigs are huge! I have 4 of them and they work well for me. You can always trim down the length if need be.

Unless you're dead set on a particular brand, I'd definitely check out Carolina Rig's jigs, at www.thunderstruckjigs.com

This is just an opinion, but I really think the best hook for a jig is a Mustad Ultra Point. Being that jigs spend so much time in rock, wood, rebar, dock posts, etc the hook constantly needs resharpening. Ultra Point hooks are by far the easiest to sharpen. Gammi's are very hard to sharpen and very easy to ruin. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Gammi's but for jigs man, Mustads everytime!

BassBandit Buckeye jigs will tie a living rubber skirt to any jig you send them. Price is $2 per jig and you pay shipping each way. Just thought this might help you out.
