When I prefished on Wednesday, the water was gin clear and 61 degrees
It is supposed to rain begining tonight and carry through Saturday. They are calling for 1.5 inches in that time. Should I expect the fish to move deeper off the same points, should I look in completely different locations, or just keep the original game plan. During prefish, I had found them in 10-15 foot. Jigs, DS, and scrounger head sluggos had worked best.

Depending on the temp of the rain, I would expect them to move up. Into shallower water, that is as long as the rain is as warm as the current water temp or warmer.

I found that sometimes as the rain starts they start moving out from under cover because the dark clouds and rain all over the surface makes it feel like everywhere is cover so they tend to move more. Many times I have my best catches under heavier rain... of course lightning usually pushes me off the water too

You won't have to worry about your sunglasses.
![]() I would think they would be more active.

I totally agree. They may not move at all but if they do I would expect them to move up shallower.

If they were holding in cover like flooded timber they might stay put, you would probably just have to make your baits more "noticable". If they aren't there I would guess they would move shallower before moving deeper, speacially if the water get's dingy compared to where it was. If there wasn't much cover where you were catching them I would seek out the nearest hard cover going shallower first, then try back out deeper, that is, if they've moved at all.

I'm with Doc-the rising water should push them shallower. Should
