John Crews won the first event of the Elite Series on the California Delta. Congrats to him, he seems like a good guy. He won with 72lbs 6oz. Skeet Reese was in 2nd place, only an ounce behind. You know it must be killin him bein the California Boy.
![]() Ish disappointed, missing the cut by one place and Aaron Martens was in 54th, both favorites going into it. KVD stumbled a little bit, finishing in 29th. What are your reactions to them fishing out in California and who do you think has the best shot on Clear Lake and the AOY? here are the results: http://proxy.espn.go.com/outdoors/ba...urnamentId=923

I don't think there where any fish in the double digits in this tournament. Goes to show you a place doesn't always live up to its name.

Cool! I was actually hoping Ike would win it, but wtg to Crews!
![]() But Ike is doing good, and consistently placing pretty good! I think he's got a pretty good shot at the AOY title!

Skeet and Mike Ike both are probably going crazy. Got to be so much mental pressure with the would haves and what ifs for those guys. I like Hack, he is laid back and ok with it I think. Congrats to Crews.
