Any of you guys ever replace the center saft bearing on a t/m. It is a brute 756. just tring to see how long it should take-

Took me about 30 minutes. Replace O ring always and lightly grease it with vasoline. And to be sure it stays dry,,, paint it after assembly.
I suggest while in there replace brushes. You will need a hot very hot iron to solder them in. Add 1 hour for that. Capt Mike

Remove prop and pin. Two long screws under prop.
Remove cap and pop out bearing.. leave motor shaft in place unles you are doing the brushes.. work clean is the ticket. Capt Mike

I think we are talking about different bearings- I ment the on that is on steering shaft, half way down there is a cage bearing. Looks like you have to slpit the tube from the motor or from the upper head.(?)
