Here's my latest masterpiece (
![]() ![]() Nothin' too special about the mushroom swiss burger.' But here's the recipe anyways. The pattie: 2lb Ground Chuck 3 tbs (heaping) Grated Parmesan Cheese (helps hold them together) 1 Splash of Worcestershire Sauce 1-2 tbs A1 Sauce A little water to keep it moist. 2 tsp Stubb's Burger Spice Salt and pepper The Shrooms: Whatever kind of mushrooms you like 1/4 of a small onion 2 tsp of chopped fresh chives 1 tsp chopped fresh Thyme Salt and pepper Cube onions small and sauté in a pan. When caramelized, add thyme, chives, and sliced shrooms. sauté till mushrooms are done. Grill burgers, melt cheese. Drain the mushroom juice or spoon onto burger with a slotted spoon. Top with your favorites: pickle, tomato, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc. BB

Only two things in this world I want it. (As far as normal food) mushrooms and raw tomatoes.
![]() As long as you like it that's all that counts.

looks good man!
![]() A few tips though (if you don't mind): When the mushrooms are about to come outa the pan, splash a little white wine on them, and let most that simmer off, really make them if you ask me! ![]() And put the mushrooms on the burger, before the cheese. This will let the cheese melt on top he mushrooms and keep them all from falling off when yer eating it! ![]()

nice looking buger..
however if i may make a suggestion-i am going to make one weather ya like it or not- when building a multi layered multi flavored burger.the tomatoe is there to add an acid taste.and i do love me some maters on my buger. i would invest in a "good" cutter and get the mater slice at least 1/2 as thick as the burger and no thicker. paper thin you don't get the acid taste too thick and you fight the slippery lil mothers while chowin down.. just a sugesstion... zooker

Thanks guys!
Sammy, I normally would throw them on the burger under the cheese for easy eating, but it just doesn't make for as good a picture. Quote:

While I'm not a fan of the mushroom swiss burger, that looks like a true masterpiece for those that like em.
You definitely get my seal of approval for presentation, as well as cheese generosity ![]() In the future though, you might wanna add a little garnish. Maybe a slice of pecan pie ![]()

Lol, I'm not a big fan of pecan pie either. I'd much rather have Apple, Cherry, or Pumpkin Pie.
It did get "garnished" with some tater chips and cole slaw though. BB
