Second outing................
Howdy all......
Got out yesterday for about 4 hours for the second time this season and caught 7 total between my daughter and I. All were caught using t-rigged ribbontails (tequila sunrise). These were actually the first fish we ever caught using t-rigs so I was excited. It was a beautiful day once again with temps in the low 80's and a light wind. All 7 in general were a tick bigger than last weeks. Still not worth measuring yet, but I would say all 7 were in the 12 inch range. Hopefully soon we'll start catching a few biggies. Looks like Memorial day will be our next outing assuming the weather cooperates. |

congratz on the fish....on a different note you got my admiration putting up with those loooooong winters....I think ours in southern Michigan are bad enough but can't imagine putting up with the kind/length you get up there

Congrats on your outings success. I know bigger ones are comming. Keep those pics comming. Last time I fished for bass in MN I was slaying them in the pads on a Bill Plummers Super Frog. That was at North Twin Lake near Blackduck.

Thanks for the frog tip Keith. I have quite a few Spro frogs and Rage Tail toads I plan on trying once the pads surface which should be in about 2 weeks.
