Default I finally fished Lake Fork, and tore em up!!!

I was not disappointed
We started off In the back of the creek...You talk about beautiful..it was loaded with stumps,grass,trees..All in 5-15 ft of water
We started off a little slow working spinnerbaits..Then I went to the bottom with a Senko, then a hyper worm....My Dad smashed the first fish on a white/chart spinnerbait right at 3lbs!.
We worked our way back to the docks...I was joking how I never caught anything on jig but I had to throw it at these dead trees....Shortly I missed a hook on a solid 2lber.(he jumped right after I missed)..Further down I hooked up my first ever jig fish...A dink!
We trolled to the other side of the dock..I hooked and loss another solid fish...A big boy at that....My Dad to check the weed guard....He was right,It needed a trim,so I did.
Not moments later my Dad hooked into the biggest fish yet off the corner of the dock..He fought him to the boat and brought him to my side...I grab the line and brought it up...This was seriously a 6-7lb fish no joke!!...I had this fish half way out and he snap his head to the side and snapped the line freeing himself...We sat in silence for awhile...And what sucks is we were both thinking we needed the net on deck...We pulled it out and used it religously after that!
I tied on a white jig....And while my Dad was going back to a spinnerbait he made the comment ''That looks like a good place for a jig''...lol...I said alright and the first cast landed my second fish at 3.3lbs!!..It was game on!...I broke the white jig off and went back to the first one...We started fishing piles of dead trees...I hit the third fish 3.0lbs even...We found a nice drop from 5ft to 19 ft....I hooked up to another fish on a tree 2.14 lbs...Then my Dad miss one on his jig.
I switched to a carolina rigged Senko to fish the deep water...No luck...It started getting late,so we went back to the docks for another crack at that monster bass....I ended up picking up three more solid bass on that same jig...I couldnt believe it....My Dad had a good bass on that spit the lipless...Nothing more as the sun went down....It just amazes me that the one lure I never had any luck on was the best lure to give me the best fishing day I ever had....7 fish boated...6 between 2.5 and 3.3lbs..I am very satisfied.
We will be back soon!!
