Bass during this time of year.
Went to a friend's pond. The water was clear and it's a pretty big pond. I could see about 20 bedding sunfish in the shallows, but that's not what I was looking for. Saw a really small bass and one about a pound or so, hanging around the sunfish beds.
I used live shiners, plastic worms, real worms,a popper, and a minnow plug, but still couldn't catch a bass. How do you old experienced fishermen fool the bass this time of year, when the bluegill are spawinig? seaphantom |
