Default It is raining

Yes it is raining for the first time in 7 weeks, my yard is beyond dead and fried. But perhaps it will grow some and dang////I have to cut it again...

This rainfall is not much but it will help drive the salt wedge south for a bit..

Frogs are talking again too. Tonights trip will be a blast.. I am giddy with the possibilty's...

Man we have had rain almost everyday for over a week now. Got 3" on Thursday but finally the last 2 days have been nice. Not complaining though, my grandpa would kill me if he ever heard me complaining about rain in the summer (farmers like rain lol).

It was supposed to be bright sunny bluebird skies here all weekend. And so it was this morning when I launched the boat. But by noon it was raining, then poured before clearing up again. Then about an hour after parking the boat in the garage big thunderstorms rolled through for about 4 hours off and on. How did the weather people including the Weather Channel mess up so badly?

We are in a 2 day dry spell. We've had a lot of rain this year and more coming.

I didn't think it was possible after all the rain we had in May that we would be in a drought now, but it seems we are. We get a good shower about once a week but it's not enough to keep the grass from dying with all the scorching heat we've had lately.
