Seasoning my new smoker.
I got a new Char-broil smoker as a birthday gift today, so I'm currently following the "Seasoning" procedures, and lookin forward to doing some grillin, and try my hand at smokin some ham or chicken or ribs in the near future.....lol

Good deal KingFisher, a smoker can even make turkey taste good. I seasoned mine by cooking lots of chicken cuz it's cheap, once the tiny taste was gone we were ready for some more expensive meats.

smoked meat..........uuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. so when do we all crash oyur place pal? after i got the smoker, i also rebuilt my gas grill. it is a kenmore from sears. went to order new grates and asked for cast iron. they said it didn't come with em adn there weren't any to fit mine. so i ordered the same ol ones that came with it. got the new grates friday............CAST IRON! upgrade for free! seasoned em today with some burgers to follow. man i love that gas grill. and now a smoker, lisa is wanting me to do some baby backs we got on sale after july 4th. as soon as i finish the shop. it is SMOKING TIME! show us the pics michael. we want to see what ya cooked up ma.

Enjoy the new toy!
I've been on a rampage smokin' pork in my old 22" Weber kettle grill this year. I've probably smoked over 150 lbs of meat since the snow melted on that thing (and 25 of that's gone straight to the bottom line, if you know what I mean!) |
