ok gang. as you guessed by now i have returned form NORTH CAROLINA. i am HUMBLED at what transpired up there. it seems that ol ZOOKER left ME (of all people) his fishing epuiptment. now before ya'll all start pming me , listen up. i am gonna sell some of it to help out the family with his bills. i am gonna KEEP what i think he truly wanted me to have. so don't get all excited ok? there will be some rods, reels and tackle. i will ask that you send the money to MRS. DICKERSON. but you have got to give me time to sort this stuff out ok?

NO BEGGING!!! NO PLEADING!!! if you look through his posts and threads you will find that this put you in the BACK of the line with him. i will do the same thing. just wait ok? i ask this in a heart felt gesture.

DO NOT ASK FOR A ZOOKENSTEIN! there aren't any for sale. there are actually only 5 left and i am keeping them.

there will be some crankbaits and so forth though. but like i said, give me time to sort them all out and i will (finally) learn how to post pictures and have them in the sale section. my office is so full with his stuff (scattered all over) and i am in the process of organizing them.

some of you are already on the list of who gets what. he (i hope) knew who was worthy of things and i guess he thought i would know who to let buy what. after i get through the folks i ask, then it will be posted for everyone.

some of these items are not all in the best of conditon. but it is for a WORTHY CAUSE. some of the reels have battle scars and such, but all seem to function fine. a little cleaning up and the will be good reels and such.

i am having a hard time with this as it brings up memories of the old fart. so please bear with me. this is not easy to do. but i will do it.

Congrats John! I'm sure this is definitely the way 'ol zooker woulda wanted it to happen for sure. And it's going to a good cause for sure. I'd love to try and help out, but me or my family don't really have money for that right now.

John, something tellss me that while your sorting through all of Zookers stuff there in your office, he's looking over your shoulder to see what you do. And whatever you decide, I know he'll be happy. He trusted you and loved you like a brother. Take your time buddy. Your doing the best you can for everyone involved, especially Zookers family.
