Unhappy Got some bad news, guys-need your prayers

Guys, our buddy Flyrod, aka Lancer6, is now in the VA here in San Antonio with what appears to be terminal liver cancer. You may recall I first posted this a while back. Well, he is going down hill pretty fast and can use all the prayers he can get. His son told me today he doesn't have too much time left. I went to see him tonight and he didn't look good at all. Figured you would want to know.

Reb

Reb, I really hate to hear this, and yes I will be praying for our friend and his family. It's been a tough year for several families here in the forums this year. Please tell him hello for me and let him know were all praying for his recovery. Thank for letting us know.

Reb, thanks for letting us know about Lancer; sending prayers.

Here is a quote from Lancer's last thread titled So long, "Sasquatch." I found it very comforting to read. I thought some of you would like to read or reread it.

Looks like you beat me to Our Lord's Honey Hole, Zook, but the MDs tell me I'm not far behind, so we'll finally meet and fish together soon.
I enjoyed our good-natured sparring and the warm PMs. Your posts were entertaining and amusing.
I regret you never made it to Texas...good times never had, sad to say.

May angels guide thee to thy rest.

Lancer6 (John)

After reading this again, I think I am going to head on to bed, kneel and have a conversation with the Father.

"Uncle" Flyrod was one of the first members here to welcome me... awful tough to think about... God Bless him.

Flyrod helped me so much and is one of the guys I think of when I think of this forum. Don't like to hear the news but I wish Flyrod the best. He's in my prayers.
