Default Suffix 832

I have been hearing good or at least interesting things about this stuff and it did win best in show at ICAST. Has anyone had a chance to try it out? Any feedback?

I've heard very mixed reviews. From I hate it to I love it.

I've got a spool of 20lb spooled up on my Sol, but haven't really gotten a chance to test it much. I've used it a couple times. It is smoother than 20-30lb Sufix Performance Braid, but it also has more body to it. Like I said, I haven't used it very long, but it doesn't seem to absorb as much water as a lot of braids do, possibly because of the Gore fiber woven in.

I'll probably getting another spool of 30-40lb before spring comes around.

I've been wondering about this line. Probably take a lot of great reviews though to make me switch from Performance

I'm planning on trying this out this year. From what I've read it sounds interresting enough to give it a try. But alas, I have a few months before I can try it out.

One of the more interesting things I've read about this braid is the Gore fiber increases the density of the braid, causing it to sink slowly as opposed to most that float. Gonna have to test this one for myself.

I have ten pound 832 on two spinning rods and 30# on a casting rod.
Out of the box the braid is very tight, which I think is why it doesn't seem to pick-up much water. All braids loosen up with use, so I will have to let you know in March or April about what it's like with some mileage on it.
