Was I seeing things?
Tell me someone else saw the BPS Johnny Morris signature series on sale for $79.94? From last Thursday to early Friday morning is was on Sale. When I called BPS that afternoon to verify before I drove over there to pick they sounded shocked and checked the website to verify. Sure enough it was back up to $119.99. Something told me to go ahead and place the order online as something like this happened last year.
But did anyone else see it on sale? |

I just checked and you are correct. It is $79.94. However, it is the spinning reel and not the casting reel. Maybe the sale ended and they put that price on the spinning reel.

I did see it on sale also. I actually got an email from Bass Pro anouncing that it was on sale for a limited time.

yep, it was $79 for a one day price a couple of days ago... they are having 1 day sales all the way up till christmas, so be sure to check daily...

Ugh....
Once upon a time I recomended BPS reels on this site. When you first buy them, they have smooth, fast performance for a good price. But trying to get them fixed is a hassle, and they will break on you before a non-house brand reel such as a ****mano or abu.

I have the JM Elite and BPS Pro Qualifier. No problems and the smoothest most solid reels I have. This includes Quantum Accurist and Abu Revo SX among others.
