Look like Reef Runners to me, or a RR knockoff.

The small reef runner is great for smallies, like lucky craft is great, but h20 makes a knockoff not as durable but lot less money,so its the same with this actually made by Born to fish, this however is slightly different in the lip dept, less angle and less steep, but slightly larger lip.Pattern and finish on both the h20 and these by born to fish are good.
The difference is one can chip the outer finish easier with a knockoff, but then again not out much. I love my swimbait by h20,born to fish makes a small 3 1/2 version ,three jointed so going to try them as well. Not replacing all my lc ,lake patrol etc just getting some look alikes that tend to work just about as well, just not last as long. The main difference between a bzz1 and an h20 is about ten bucks cheaper, and the btf is 15 cheaper. My 4 inch h20 swimbait(american shad) has one chip in it after a year of useage, but done by a long nose gar,not by me. Last edited by lilmule; 12-04-10 at 01:43 PM. |

Hopefully it works better than the reef runners do.

The small 4 3/8 reef runner is a top smallmouth bait, and makes a decent spot remover.
But due to its wide wobble isnt a great largie bait,in clear cold water. Im on ky lake and want 5 + lb smallie.,just thought id try the knockoff version of the larger bait. |
