I was watching the video on the Paycheck Frogs the other night and thought about trying them out. Have any of you used them before?

I have used them and they do work, but I prefer ones where the bottom sits in the water a little more. I found that while I got a lot of blowups, my hookups were a little less with them than other frogs.
I think their biggest advantage is that they will stay in one spot better than other baits. I can twitch them without having them move out of the hole in the pads that I am working.

I liked how they had a tight "walk the dog". They almost turn all the way around on quick snaps, but they don't move that far from what the vid said and from what you say.

These are a sick *** frog. I know Bub personally and hey put alot of research into this bait. Now Im not saying that this frog is better than every other frog out there but I think that it brings a different presentation to the table that most of the "typical' frog fish havent seen. I played alot with it over the past summer and it really does do alot more than most of the other brands. Only way to find out is to go pick one up and throw it...

Looks like they put some interesting twists on an already productive bait. I might have to pick a few of them up.

Well you know, try it on about 4-6" of ice, if a fish bust through for the frog, we know we have a ding ding ding winner winner chicken dinner.

just tested the paychecks on the water & it's true to advertisement. a twitch of the rod & the lure turns almost 90 degrees. let it sit & the legs slightly moves like a jig. they say to trim the legs to make it zig zag better but not gonna do that just yet till i get more water time with them. i like these better then the spro's frog as walking the dog is a lot easier

I as well like the poppin frog, small spro is the most popular frog on ky lake in black, yet I dont like them due to having to squeeze out so much, the popin frog isnt so bad.
Give a report on those paycheck frogs never tried them. But did recently try capt kens designer bass frogs love them, completely different action no squeezing straight run forwad but realistic with kicking legs. |

Silicon helps seal them up so you don't have to squeeze em...
