I am looking to buy a Lowe Skorpion with a 9.9hp motor due to reservoir restrictions. Some dealers say it will be fine with that motor or dealers say no. I appreciate any feedback on this

It will certainly push the boat around... I would guess top end at under 20mph... probably close to 15 or less....
There are much larger boats ie. fiberglass bass boats that use 9.9hp kicker motors all the time for lake restrictions and it gets the job done. |

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like the set up will work. They state min hp is 20. Perhaps 15hp and redecal sounds like a plan.
