im somewhat new to bass fishing and im interested in maybe buying another rod. I have a team allstar 7' carolina riggin rod with a abu revo s baitcaister mounted on it and this is my all around rod/reel that i use. I also have a team allstar big crankin 7'11'' rod with a abu 5500c on it that i use for flipping bushes. Im wondering if theres any other rods that would be useful to me?

Your C-rig rod could most likely double as a t-rig rod and also be used for pitching. Not sure I'd use a cranking rod for flipping. One that long would most likely be used for throwing deep running cranks. Myself, I'd stick to rods in the 6'6" to 7' range in a MH action with good tip action. A Med action rod in those lengths will handle your shallow to med running cranks.

I'd want a 6'6" MH/F rod which can be used for many applications such as spinnnerbaits, topwater, and many others. I'd also want a 7"0" MED/MOD rod for crankbaits.

What are the specs on these two rods?
I'd imagine, like jdw said, the c-rig rod will probably be very versatile. The crankbait rod, depending on the lure ratings and action MAY be ok for pitching/flipping with. Some people do prefer softer action rods than the F or XF action that has been the "norm" for a while. When I buy a new rod, I look for a technique I don't have a rod for, but I tend to use a lot. So what techniques do you use most often? I'd opt for a 7' M or MH rod with a F action for a nice general purpose rod (I find a 7' MH/F rod can do A LOT of things). A 7' M or MH rod with a M or MF action may be another choice if you fish a lot of cranks. Without knowing your budget, I couldn't recommend specific rods to you though since I could recommend a $80 or a $500 rod. BB

My cranking rod is a 7'11" moderate medium rod and the c-rig rod is 7' and it don't say the action but it feels medium fast to me and I use it for just about everything I just purchased the cranking rod so I haven really gotten a chance to try it out. I guess I'm really just wondering what else could be very worth my money to have . I mainly fish light to medium cover and I'm gonna try some ledge fishing also
