I've heard a lot about the Owner ST-41s being some killer treble hooks. Definitely leaning toward buying them. Are they really as good as people say? Also, is there a place that sells them in bulk?

I use the Owner treble hooks, but prefer the ST-36 for bass fishing. Slightly lighter wire (than the ST-41) but definitely strong enough with excellent penetration for bass. I prefer the black, but they are also available in red. If I were pike or muskie fishing with large plugs then the ST-41 would be better suited, IMO. I have NOT been able to find bulk retailers, but I did score a discount for buying multiple packs last summer from a seller on another board and I'd love a lead for a bulk seller if anyone knows of one.

Really depends on what you're wanting them for. If it's for cranks, IMO you can't beat either the Triple Grips or the KVD Elite Triple Grips. But, if you're planning on using them for something like the Osprey or Rago Inline Swimbaits, I don't think there is anything out there better suited than the Owner's. I also prefer the Owner's on topwater walking baits too, but that's the only two times I chose them over the TGs.

Thanks guys. Yeah, someone else recommended the 36s instead for cranks. I ordered a pack to try. Here' the only place I've found that sells them in bulk, little too much for me right now:
