The wife and I went to Cedar Creek Lake the other weekend and I hook into a monster. It weighed in at over 170lbs and measured 5” 9”. Caught it on 6lb test line to boot, spinning rob combo. It’s a one of kind also, it’s called a Harold. Help you guess it by now, I hooked myself, not once but twice, back to back.
I cast into a tree, we went into retrieve my lure, has I started to unhook it, something happen. (You get me what) But the hook came undone and started sinking into my left hand. As I watched it go deeper and deeper into my hand. (Nothing I could do to stop it either) So right when the barb went in my hand, I dropped my rod, and just pulled it out real fast like. (Out it came, and right into my right index finger, and it went right up to the bent of the hook instantly. ![]() So put my on the list of hooking oneself. ![]() |
