Terminator improvement

I really like Terminator T-1 spinnerbaits, EXCEPT for the skirt and the paint chips off the heads pretty easily. I really like the titanium wire and their blades are the best I've found. I've always changed out the skirts, but I found another I think is even better for some instances. I've also started coating the heads with an epoxy sealer to try and preserve the paint job a bit longer. Oh, the great skirt - a doggone Strike King Perfert Skirt with Magic Tails.

The top one is with the Strike King skirt, bottom is the skirt I was using.

The reason I'm trying this skirt is because my nephew kicked my butt in a tournament a couple months ago using a Strike King KVD spinnerbait that has this skirt.

The older skirt adds nice bulk and good action but I still add a plastic trailer. The Strike King has fantastic action without the addition of a plastic trailer, but really does need a trailer hook due to really long tails.

No matter how good a bait may be, most could stand a little tweaking. Now with the addition of the Strike King skirts, I have two different look Terminator spinnerbaits.
