Just a lil reminder. The season is half over for us northern brothers. Our southern brothers get to enjoy this wackiness year round. Regardless of where you live, it's probably time for a line change for users of mono, copoly and flourocarbon. If your using the same line you spooled on in the spring, it's time for changing it. Line degrades over time from sunlight, weather, heat, and of course wear and tear. You don't have to replace the whole spool. Just remove about 70%, and tie your new line to your old line and respool. For most reels that should be sufficiant. Mono is cheep, so a total line change, should you go that route, won't break the bank either unless your changing line on 20 rigs like some folks in here.
