Hi. New here and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it's called when an angler catches all "officially accepted" species of bass. Thanks

I dont think its loosely applied in this sport, while it is in others.
What do you consider to be officially accepted, white, black or sunfish, the bass is a member of the sunfish family and not a true bass. If your thinking ,largemouth, smallmouth ,spot, many different sub species of spots and natural occurring mixes inbetween them all, taking a biologist to tell apart at times. |

If we go with the recognized 3 of LM, SM and Kentucky Spotted, and if you caught all 3 in one day, then i would call that a hook trick.

This was actually a challenge in Bassmaster magazine not too long ago. They called it the B.A.S.S. Slam. Species include Northern Largemouth, Florida Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted, Shoal, Redeye, Guadalupe, Suwanee, and the Alabama Spotted.
Here is a link: http://www.bassmaster.com/slam |

Yeah, I guess slam was the word I was looking for thought there was another name for it but maybe not. Thanks again.
