Doh....I'm stupid. The XT still had the straight handle in 2011 (at least it is carbon fiber), unlike the regular Patriarch, which got a swept handle.

I bet you're both right, they will probably have a swept handle on the 2012 model. I would love to get my hands on another XT, they are sweet reels.
