I purchased a few from Dick's the other day. What do you think of them. They are similar in shape and action like the Yo-Zuri I have been using, but have to have some serious adjustments out of the box. Hunting wasn't the term I would use, it was driving to the left on both of them I used. But I did manage a quick hook up, but she came off on the first jump.
So anyone else fish them? For $2, I didn't figure I was at a total loss if they didn't work that well.

I have a buddy that uses them and he likes them. But like you he said they needed to be adjusted.

Here is a picture of 2 of them I got. And I popped my cherry and finally bought 2 LCs. And caught fish on both of them, including a 1.5 and 1.25 crappie.

Yea I saw that same $2 deal at Dicks and using the same logic took home 5. Never would run true more than a few casts ..oh well...don't have much confidence in rattlin cranks anyway Did manage to salvage the hooks and split rings for the parts bin. Giving something an Oriental name doesn't automatically impart greatness.

Very true on the name. It caught a fish or I should say hooked one. It stayed true once I dialed it in. But another quirk was reeling fast. It would hook a 180 and shoot out of the water. But slow rolling and quick jerks it did alright. But for the budget minded man, a $2 crank is worth making a few adjustments from time to time.

Picked one up a tackle shop in florida. Real wide funky lookin crank with a big circular bill. Was magic on a muddy pond I used to fish on my friends land!
