First of all yes I realize just how terrible this picture is but I am not trying to show a picture of the fish, or really even the jig for that matter. Dad and I went to a pond tonight and I caught a ton of fish on a swim jig but this one is one for the books. Not because he is big, he is only a big fish in bamabassmans book lol. What is so cool about it is that I never got a hook in the fish. If you look close you can see that I actually stuck him on the wire trailer keeper. I don't know what the odds of that are but I know I have never seen that before.

That is just crazy, don't think I have ever seen anything quite like that before. So Kory, you about ready to start pouring your own swimjigs.

Photoshop all the way!!! How dare you! hahahaha - That is pretty awesome. I guess we need a thread on making sure the keeper's are sharp now.

Wow, that is crazy that you stuck him with the trailer keeper. I have seen fish that were not hooked on a crankbait before, they just had the bait wedged in their mouth and couldn't let go!

I really don't know. My trailer was worn out from catching several fish so the trailer keeper wasn't staying in the trailer very well. So I know how the wire was exposed in the first place but I still don't know how he got hooked on it.

In your quest for swim jigs, you might want to look at the eakins swim jigs with a boat hull design. The bass assault jigs are nice, I know Tony really likes them. I really like my jigs from all terrain tackle, they have the best prices.

I'll put my vote out there for Brovarney swim jigs. Awesome, hand tied, hand painted jigs.
