Please, some prayers for my mother.

Had to take mama to the hospital this morning. Found her sitting on the edge of her ez chair moaning like she was in pain and asking for help, couldn't get her to tell us what was wrong and wasn't making any sense other than the help me. EMTs got here and gave her some oxygen and she seemed to start doing better. They took her to the er and is better but still having moments from time to time where she acts like she's having a hard time either thinking of the words to say or just not able to say them. Could use your prayers.

It's still a possibility. Her cat scan came back good, but sometimes it takes a day or two for a mini stroke to show up. She's been having trouble breathing so could be not getting enough oxygen too. Just aint sure yet. Right now I'm gonna find something to eat and find out if I need to go back up there. Or just wait and go in the morning to relieve my sisters.

Thank you all. So far she's about the same as when I posted earlier. They'll be doing another cat scan tomorrow. She seem coherent and answers yes and no questions without problem. But seems kind of confused with more complicated things. Guess we'll know more after that. Thank you again. Your prayers are much appreciated.

Thank you all for the prayers. Right now, from what I understand, they think she had a small stroke, but will be doing some more tests including a mri tomorrow to confirm it. The stroke is the prime suspect right now though. She still coherent and seems to be doing well, though she has moments when she seems confused and just not able to remember some things and/or has difficulty comunicating. Otherwise, physically her heart and all other vitals are good and she's in fine health.

Mama is doing better. Still not sure exactly what happened. None of the test's show any sign of a stroke but they say a small stroke might not show up. But there was a few other issues that could have been the cause too. There was a issue with her not being able to pee. Skin has started to grow places and abstructing the flow. Also, we were told that inactivity can cause these kinds of spells, and getting her to do more than walk the few steps to the bathroom has been a problem for awhile. So there's going to be some physical theropy in order for miss mama's future. But, all and all, mentally she's about back to her old self. Thank you all very much for your prayers.

Thank you again for the prayers guys. I got a feeling Mama's going to be in the hospital for awhile. She was doing better, but over the past couple days she's seemed to be getting weaker at moments. Then last night she had trouble breathing. And they've said she has an enlarged heart. She's good right now and I'm hoping this is just a bump in the recovery.

In the meanwhile... My sister is getting worn down a bit too, and it seems like this may be an extended thing so I'm going to start staying all night so she can go home and get a break. She's the one that looks after mama's medical stuff so she needs to be the one there during the day when the docs are there and test are being run, and I'm a night owl anyway. So don't be surprised if my posting of stupidity don't pick up for a bit in the wee hours of the night/morning.
