Got an idea!

Ok, don't run off just yet.

I like to laugh. Surprise surprise.
Lately there seems to be less and less opportunity to do that at one of my favorite 'weeding' spots.
Now I know some of you hate the jokes and funny pictures I fill my winters with but some actually looked forward to it. Thanks for the PMs and great comments anglers.
So I'm thinking why not have a weekly joke contest and the members can vote on thier favorite that week.

Here's how it can work:
Sunday the first five members to post a joke gets voted on.
The voting period or poll would be from Sunday to Sat. Then the next Sunday the first five members to post thier new joke will be voted on by the members for the next week.

If your the first joke poster for that week please title thread, 'Jokes for the week... then date 08/11/12'. The next four to put a joke under that thread are that weeks jokes. At bottom of new thread entry it asks if you want a poll attached to thread, check 'yes'.
Then you will be asked how many options, choose 5, the amount of jokes.
If this makes you uncomfortable just allow someone else to start new joke thread.
This way anyone can start that weeks jokes anytime on Sunday. Please wait till five are given , then vote.
The poll gives a running total so everyone will know who the winner is by just looking at the poll. Poll can be set for a seven day vote and then we're on to the next.
Now a joke can mean; a joke, a riddle, a picture, a cartoon clip, a Utube video or anything else you can come up with that you think will bring a smile to ALL that view it.

Now I'm going to reply to this post and see if I can start a poll on second post or just the first.
Please respond to what you anglers think of the idea, good or dumb?
I only ask that off colored humor is saved for where it's appropiate and please NO jokes trying to jab another member unless a total STRANGER would easily understand the joke and it's humor.
I think this could/would be fun.
Remember I know this is a fishing forum but most of the fisherman I know love a good joke and a reason to smile.

Two anglers rent a boat and go fishing. There names were John and Don. They catch a lot of fish and return to the shore.

1st Don says: I hope you remember the spot where we caught all those fish I mean 'dinks'.

2nd John says: Yes, I made an 'X' on the side of the boat to mark the spot.

Don replies: You idiot! How do you know we'll get the same boat?
You know the 'Rajuns' laided up for a while.
