My nephew...the deputy!
Next Wednesday it will be exactly 20 years since my then 3 year old nephew was the ring bearer at our wedding. Today he was sworn in as a deputy with the Sarpy County Sheriff's Department in Papillion, Nebraska. I am so proud of him that I just had to share. Congrats, Andrew!

Congrats to him! A lot of work goes into making it through the academy. It's good he has a good family support system around him, that helps a lot. I'm fortunate to have a very supportive family behind me still after 6 years of being an LEO

Congratulations to your nephew! I have always looked back on all the decisions I made in the past and one of my biggest regrets is not going into law enforcement. Law enforcement officers are unsung heros for sure and have a very tough job.
