Well if you just want the singer. The dude from Radiohead, Chris Cornell.

My country side likes George Strait the best.

Chris Cornell was the lead singer for Soundgarden, and currently sings for Audioslave.

The lead singer for Radiohead is Thom Yorke, and yes he is among the best of the bunch.

If you're talking bands-or frontmen my list would be very different. But if you're talking just a great voice-just straight up singing, Allison Krause would be right up there-her voice is just incredible as is Jewel. Joe Lynn Turner, the guy from Queensryche (can't remember his name at the moment), Bruce Dickenson, Ian Gillan, Rob Halford all come to mind. Great frontmen-lead vocalists that can take over a show and hold the crowd in the palm of their hand-Steven Tyler, David Lee Roth, Vince Neil, Bret Michaels, and Travis Tritt all come to mind. Favorite bands are too many and to varied to mention all-but Skynard is right up there, as is Toby Keith, Hank Jr., AC/DC.

Metalica is old but good. I like rap but not all of it. 50 cent is the biggest joke around. He is no gangsta.
