Default Everybody be careful with the heat!

I got real sick yesterday fishing the smallie stream 50 miles from home, not sure if it was exhaustion or even heat stroke but it wasn't cool. Â*The thing is I wasn't feeling too bad till I climbed a hill going to where I parked, and after that I was barely cogniscent of my surroundings. Â*Had to go chill at the local gas station that had ice cold gatorade and a good AC, but I remained sick for the rest of the day. Â*I guess what I've learned is that heat sickness can creep up on you, and just cause you've made it through similar conditions one day does not nessesarily mean you will make it through a similar day just the same. Â*So drink plenty of water before you go (I didn't, Â*:-/), eat a good sized breakfast but not too big (I had none, Â*:-/), and wear light clothing (and not ruber waders and a coldwater trout vest, Â*:-/). Â*Everybody be safe this 4th and for the rest of the summer. Â*

PS, 14 bass in 3 hours - had I taken care of myself it would have been a great day... :-/
