It looks awesome. I just hope that it is built better than their DT cranks. If not, I will never buy one.

I'm not a fan of Rapala, they just have never produced for me like other brands.

Kinda early to be posting drunk Brice...DT's like all Rapala products are sublime...each one is hand-tuned and tank tested you know! Magnificent

Funny it took so long for someone to come up with this idea. Rapalas haven't been that good of a bait for me except for the rippin rap. But I think this would be a great shoreline/riprap bait. Watching baitfish swimming shallow, glide along then dart from side to side is what I think this bait will mimic rather well. I'll try one.

Interesting looking crankbaits! I'd like to get a couple and try em out, I just wish crankbaits were fishable for more months out of the year on my local lakes. Perhaps I could get some nice smallies on them as well in the river!

My bad experience with the DT series will keep me from buying one of these until a lot of people get some time with them on the water. I've had probably 8 DTs break on me, 3 on the first few casts out of the box. That's completely unacceptable for what they cost and from a company with the reputation of Rapala. The ones that did work didn't catch a whole of fish. I'd take a Bandit 100 over a DT4 or DT6 any day.

They do have their redeeming baits, the X-rap, for one.

This is such a great concept though. I'll wait to see if anyone has problems like with the DT. Or wait until other companies come out with their versions.

Bandit Hunter maybe?

That bait looks pretty impressive in that video. I never have been really big on Rapala crankbaits but this bait has my attention for sure. Being a crankbait junky I will most likely pick up a half dozen or so and see how they do. I am a firm believer that if you are running the crankbait into the bottom or some type of cover you will get a lot more bites than if you just cast and wind with crankbait that dive deep enough to reach the bottom. The problem is that most of the time you will get the bait to dig into the bottom for the first several feet of the retrieve of the cast but once the water gets a little deeper you can't reach the bottom, especially with squarebills. This bait should be a good option to get he same type of action all the way back to the boat even in water that's deeper than what your bait will dive.

I bought a few and had a chance to try them today in a pond. Did not catch any lunkers but they bass seemed to hit it well. Caught quite a few.
