I use binders for my plastic baits and try to keep them organized. I had one binder where the bags holding the baits started disintegrating. I have never seen bags just become so soft and the plastic zipper clips melted too. I keep the bags in a climate controlled area except when I am fishing. I had to go buy replacement bags.

Certain plastics do react to others, different brands of plastic baits included, and mixing can cause a meltdown. I keep mine in original package whenever possible. They sell adhesive strips that you can attach to the original packages to store them in a binder - I tried that but have way too many plastic baits now for binder storage.

I have several binders. Varying sizes. Never had an issue until this one. I do try to seperate any specialty plastics with extra ingredients from regular plastics.
