Man It was slow last night

Went Fishing, with NJBassDevil last night,and our dads were there too. Well, I get to the pond and on my 3rd or 4th cast, with a Manns Minus 1, I got one, Wow, I was using my medium action baitcaster, and it ripped the rod harder than it would on my Medium Heavy. I definitley will make that my cranking rod, because I didnt set the hook and rip it outta its lips like I do with the MH sometimes. Anyways, Then another friend of mine showed up, And he starts throwing a rat lure over the surface slop, and has at leat a 2lber blow up on it. Then I try a rat, and had a 1lber blow up on it. Well, I forgot to wait to feel the weight of the fish. Well, I caught the only fish that night, but I learned how to present a rat lure, and how to work a rat-l-trap right. I am going to be pretty much booked up till sunday now, then I can put my line in the water.

Na, he almost does that to himself everytime. LMAO
