FINALLY, got out today and was rewarded for not having fished the pond much recently. Here are my catches. (the meaurements are somewhat tough to read, but each fish was measured several times with 2 different measuring devices. It was a lot of fun tho.
FISH 1 19.5 in length 11.5 in girth The fish was caught on a silver skirt, silver bladed willow leaf spinnerbait Same Fish, close up Same Fish Girth WEIGHT FISH 1: 3.67 lbs FISH 2: 18.25 in length 11.5 in girth 2nd fish caught on the same spinnerbait 2nd fish again.....tape reads 18 but he flopped right when i took the pic...his nose was 1/2 in off of the front of the board...Measured it several times WEIGHT FISH 2: 3.19 FISH 3: 18 in Length 11 in girth Fish caught on a quarter ounce chart/white cavitron buzzbait gold blade 3rd fish again......let me tell you, it is tough to photograph these fish!!!....lol WEIGHT FISH 3: 2.97 lbs FISH 4: 14.5 in Length 7.25 in girth Fish was caught on a pearl white Z Too. I love it when you get em right before dark....lol WEIGHT FISH 4: 1.27 lbs *******4 FISH TOTAL: 11.1 lbs ******* It was a lot of fun. Winning isn't the important part, but I hope it stands anyway.... ![]() BTW, my show is in some of the pics for reference since the tape is hard to read. It is a size 12.5 shoe for the record.....It took me all week with 2 a days for soccer and working 6 hours a day, but the pond relieved some stress in a good 4 hours. Did lose one that looked to be 15 in, would have made a limit, but you catch some, you lose some. Catch em up Brian |
