Default I was impressed

I think this is going to be a real test of these anglers skills. I mean a five fish limit barely was 4 lbs. I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend. I hope to be in the tourney in about 5 years.

Yep, and only 4 I think had a limit, and big bass was 3-8 if I remember correctly. I kind of figured it would be that type of tourney based on where it is being held.

Now now, we have large smallmouth in our rivers and MOST Pittsburgh anglers would clean up in this tournment, but we have the advantage of knowing the river system. I for one feel ashamed that the anglers are meerly catching 13oz bass. These pro's are giving us a bad name in fishing. I mean, I know there wouldn't be a run of 20lbs limits, but I was figuring on having most the anglers in the double digits toady.

No disrespect intended for your fishery-in -'87 George Chochran won with 15-5 on a river system and Larry Nixon won on the Ohio River in '83 with 18-1, so I figure this one will be similar. The northern rivers aren't known for large sacks. On the flip side, we get to see how good they really are in a tough fishery. If you go, give us a first hand report!

i figured that there would be low weights for this one.. to be honest i would be shocked if the biggest fish weighed in will go over 5 pounds. remember i used to live in the north east. make no mistake about it river fishing is either very tough or very easy just most rivers don't have the big fish..
