Brand of Hook's on the Mann's -1
Well I am a fan of the mustad triple grips, but I must say I truly am a believer in the Mann's -1 hooks. I have tried to figure out what manufacturer they are, but can't find it. I have hooked lot's of bass this year with them, and being that these are such shallow running baits, you almost always get the fish out of the water somewhere on the fight. I have lost very few on these baits, so I was wondering who makes the hooks. If anyone knows please let me know.

I'm thinking that they are Mustad, not sure, but I think thats what they might be.

No, they are Eagle Claw hooks, beleive it or not. I read it on a website somewhere and I too was shocked.

Yah, I read the article and was amazed at it too. I use eagle claw, mainly because they are inexpensive. But, if I had the money I would buy Owner or Mustads. But the Eagle Claws on the Mann's Minus 1's are great hooks. I think I read it on Manns website. I will see if I can find it for you.

I got a Manns1 minus from ta walmart one time and it had the hook point cut off on two off them. It had really bad hooks. I do not think they come with really good hooks at all. They use to come with better hooks actually a couple of years ago which is hard to believe. Do you guys buy the ones in a package or the ones in a little case that the bait fits into?
