Default Im not catching any?????

I dont know why but for the past week ive been fishing every day and i havent caught a single bass.My friend,on the other hand has caught about 10 total this week and weve been fishing together.Im using the same type of blue culprit worms with a small splitshot, jigging it the same way (letting it sink to the bottom then pulling it up and letting it sink)but im just not getting any bass.Does anyone have any tips on what rig i should use or how i should jig it?

Thats interesting. I would look for cover that bass could hide and throw it there. Look and see if your freind is doing ANYTHING different than you. If he is try it. I would also advise you to try taking the weight off. I have had tromendous success fishing it weightless. If that dont work I would try a wacky style setup. You also might want to pick up a few Tiki sticks by Wave Worm from wal-mart. Fish them weightless or wacky rigged. Good luck.................

If u think u can locate the bass, Tiki sticks with weightless wacky rigged will catch the fish no matter what kind weather. Try it and enjoy it.

Default well then

Could be something on your hands, like gas or a strong odor turning them off?
I just guessing.Have you tried a fluke? there deadly for bass when there in a
strange mood.anything wieghtless, remember to give it time to sink.

Go early in the morning when the sun is coming up. I have to agree, the wacky worm weightless is the way to go. Toss it out and bring it in slow and your sure to catch a BASS. I use the WaveWorm from Wal-mart. green with the red flakes I've found works really good. Good luck

well first off, if youre using the same bait as your friend, thats where youre wrong, dont use the same lure, or bait as the person youre fishing with, use something different, bass are one of the smartest fish, theyll catch on when they see two of the same baits floating around, try and interest them, change spots, change baits then see how ur luck turns around.
