This is old man River Stumps..Has anyone heard from kh51501??? I was worried about the little fellow. He hasn't posted anything for a day or two. I looked at his profile, and noticed he lives in or near Hattisburg Mississippi. I sure hope he and his family got through the storm. And all you fellows that live near and around the Gulf Coast. This is a bad storm and I want you guys to know that you have been in my prayers. You guys are a nice bunch of young fisherman, and I sure wouldn't want anything to happen to any one of you. You all take care and happy fishing.

well he pm'd me just before the storm hit..i would imagine that it will take a day or 2 to get things back in order and get elec. running again..which is gonna be the case for my parents...they missed the blunt force of the cane but took on some strong winds bringing down some of the power lines..hopefully this is the case for him as well...

been trying to get through to his cell but with all of the power out in the area no power means no cell towers. all i get is all circits are full now or a buzy signal.. dyas is also in this area any body heard from him??

Its gonna proabably be a week at the minimum for power if your lucky. Went through em last year and it was like that for some places in the middle of our state where we only got force 1 winds. But I hope they are all okay.

well 911 dispatchers and emergincy vechials all work off the same towers as the cell phones these will be the first things to get power...

Im fine. Just took a while to get power and then the net and my computer keeps messing up and its hard to get on here. Mobile is messed up over here. My mom lives in Tillmans Corner wich is a few miles south of Mobile and it looks like Ivan came through here again. The streets of Downtown Mobile was under 3 foot of water. Although it is nothing compared to what its like in New Orleans it is the worst I have ever seen. My dads doing storm work for Alabama Power in Hattiesburg and it will be a few days if not a week before they get power back. I hope everyone is alright............

river stumps just got an pm from kh51501 he is ok the cell phones aint worked since the storm. he was using internet service from some place. lost some big trees in his yard and his pond/lake is a mud pit..

Finally we heard from our little buddy. Glad hes okay and hope he gets his place cleaned up quickly. Looks like I might have a little something on my hands here in FLA but nothing big.

im baaaaaaack.2 weeks without power what a mess. our internet is still a little messed up but it working now.picking up debris and playing guitar dont take electricity so thats what i was doin.my lake cleared up yesterday and i went fishing had a great day.
but the eye of the storm was just left of us and that was the worse part.but it could be worse i could be standing on my roof like people arein nawlins
