Default same ol', same ol'

it seems to me that a lot of the topics expressed in this forum are just repeated...over and over and over. Does anyone else feel that way?

You just got back and your already complaining ? Yeah I feel the same way, but I am too lazy to start new threads. Its good to see you back though. Some where River Stumps stated when he started fishing, we didn't have websites to learn from. That was the way it was when I started and the only way to learn was to fish and learn as you went. The people I fished against wouldn't help you, they would rather you not learn so they could take your money each week. Maybe it seems like the same old stuff over and over, but each time there is a new thread of information that wasn't posted before. P N J

I enjoy the exposure to the new baits that everyone talks about and uses..it gets me out of yesteryear thinking... if it hadn't been for this site for example I would haven't heard of senko/tiki plastics, which I had a lot of fun with this summer turning on ppl I fish with ...
the basics are gone over and over but there are many more positives to the site than that...

How many times is someone gonna post this?

Yes, you are right, and we have discussed this in depth about 6 or 7 times since I've been here at least. Try and keep up newbie!

But then again, every time I think I've seen everything I can possibly see on here, PnJ comes up with something new (I'm still amazed by the gripper teeth theory, as you may be able to tell).

Yes, but as memory serves me correctly, when you first got here, didn't you ask some of the same questions? Folks don't want to do the research, it's easier to just post a question. They could just go to the search button at the top, and look for it. However I do learn new ideas and tactics occasionally on the same ol', same ol' posts. Because someone jumps in and gives a new approach or tip for the same ol', same ol' posts that I had never heard before.
