I'm thankful that my family can have the traditional meal of ham turkey and all the trimmings. And I must say that I have some guilt when I think of those who are less fortunate than I. And I want to take a moment to wish every one on this board a verry happy Thanksgiving.

well with my family normal is a bit odd-well no sh!t- we are deep frying a tundra swan. taters, gravy, water gate salad, the whole 9 yards. mom and my lil sister have been baking since monday morning-- sticky buns and home made breads, rolls, pies, cakes....you all know that the "single members of the crew get the left overs" of course more than a little will end up at my house..

mom has 30 pies -one for every day of next month- my lil sister has 25 or so. every thing from persimion, peacan, mince meat, cherry, black berry,strawberry/rubarb.. my lil sister specil is a cream cheese cake. which will is better than sex-trust me-and has a sugoun general's warning on it,500 calories per inch slice..
i got lucky mom is a professinal baker and my lil sister just loves to bake...as for my girl friend well...she can manage a pb&j sandwich every now and then. a total menance in the kitchen...

That's actually what John Madden used to serve when he was at Fox and did the Thanksgiving Day game. It's called a Turducken.
