frozen nugguts bassnman..... i have to say that todays tourny had to be one of the coldest bass only tourny's i have ever fished in.. not the coldest but close. 26 degree blast off air temps. i took a liter bottle from in my house -sat on the table all night- tossed it in the back of my truck drove 11 miles and it was slush when i put it in bassnman's boat. ran 57.6 mph to the first spot. felt like i had a brain chill when we stopped-no more slushy please- ice built up in the rod eyes and reel eyes until about 10 am. had fun fishing with bassnman. we really need to rename the club "lucky last hour" in your case last 15 mintues..also sorry for your lost lc bait.

we used to bring motorcycle helmets with us on cold days like that if we had a long run, bad thing about that is the bulk size, its kinda hard to
stow away a helmet or too , about the only place is under the console.
A lot of guys will bring a big towel to wrap around their face and head as they run, kinda keeps the cold of ya and easier to stow.

jb i had a boggin,2 hooded sweat shirts,and a hat on. i think the boggin made my head sweat prior to blast off putting sweat in the hat it froze every time we took off.

Zook, had a good day, despite the lack of fish. That "one" that I caught came off the same tree top as the one that I caught a couple weeks earliery, except this one was a tad bigger. Looked at the fishheads at Fishin Fever today. They didn't have the color that I wanted, so I passed.
I did get a couple Ghost color pointers, didn't have but one when I lost it.
You said that you wanted some baits from Daves. Just let me know what you want.

Hey Zook, got me one of those "Fish heads". I got the one with the spider webs. Man I went to Daves just yesterday (Tue) and yes I bought more "junk". Yes, I bought some more Luck Craft baits, I also got some DT 7's. Man they look good, they are kinda like a Zook Tapp. They are flat sided, and have a coffin style lip.

They do have Fish Heads that match my boat, for a cheaper price.
