PACA CRAW
![]() VERSES Zoom Ultravibe Speed Craw ![]() I can see potential in both, anyone compared the two ? I am wondering if you can fish these too fast just to get the craws to move....plus whats everyones preference? I bet some have tried both and like one over the other..I own both but haven't gotten them wet yet. |

paca craw all the way....... i have used both the ultra vibe might be ok in the clear water up north. but the slow fall of the paca is deadly-ultra vibe falls like a rock- ultra vibe has less movement. the paca -ok the claws tear off fairly easy-the paca can be rigged weightless and run as a buzz bait on top.

The good thing about the Paca Craw is that you can put a big ole tube rattle in there and ring the dinner bell for the bass!!
![]() I have some ultra vibes to try this year some but I can tell you I cleaned house last year with the paca craws. |

JB, I went to Walmart yesterday, bought 3 packs of the Riverside baits that resemble the paca craw but have a solid tail section instead of being hollow like the paca craw.I bought the paca, baby pacas this winter, waiting to fish them.I have no doubt that they will work well,in my opinion the baby paca is the right size bait.P N J

the hollow pacas bodies let it fall very slowly i find pegging a 1/16oz bullet helps get the right fall i am looking for.. zooker

zoom speed craws are also made out of a bit harder plastic than the paca craw, paca craw has more action because of the softness of it.

I like to use the baby paca craws as a jig trailer. They give the jig a real crawfish look, and the motion of the arms is awesome when the jig is falling!! I use the speed craws for flipping on KY lake. I like the speedcraws more for flipping b/c they're slender and can penetrate the cover much better than the paca craws, and also because they fall faster which I think helps get a bit of a reaction bite. Paca Craws for jig trailers and speed craws for flipping. Hard to beat those combos for KY lake!!

I have fished both and I prefer the paca craw. Those pinchers have great action. I also use the paca craw jig trailors when jig fishing. They work great!

I really liked the way that craw stood up for easy access for the bass, plus once I got into some clearer water I could see how much it was moving and hopping around, I really needed to slow it down for a more nature presentation...winter ringrust I guess
