Tommorrow i'm headin to the wekiva river and going canoeing on it. Im bringin the poles and plan on doing alotta bass fishin! hopefully i can pull out some size, but either way atleast im fishing. I would enter that tourny we are having on the site, but i dont have a measuring device around, i used to have plenty of rulers and tape measures, but i cant find any of them! anyways i'll still get some pics to post for fun if i catch anything camera worthy. I havent fished the wekiva in along time, so im not sure where to fish or what to fish, but im just gunna go along with natural bassaholic instincts and see what happens. we are renting canoes at the wekiva state park. i would give more specifics, but ;like i said, i dont even know what to expect. im guessing fairly clear water possibly, since its near the spring, but im not sure. i'll just have to find out tommorrow when i get there, i'll let you all know how i do.

Black lizards LOL. I really like greenpumpkin, especially a Baby PacaCraw in the rivers. Also caught several on spinnerbiats, , PNJ's, Cranks, and Flukes. Guess they like everything. Hope you load the boat, but knowing you, there'll be chick chasing cutting into the fishing ROTFLMAO.

Dang, I was at Wekiva yesterday, but not on the river, just in the state park. I went sonrkeling down into the cave, its really cool down there, unfortunately I never got an opportunity to fish.

we went cannoeing and i didnt even get a chance to fish, there were so many d*mn cannoers out on that small cannoeing trail that you couldnt stop and fish. we went down it for awhil hoping to find a place to pull off and try to fish, but people were everywhere. the water was crystal clear and fairly shallow. as it went on the water started getting murky and deeper. next time i go, im not going on spring break, maybe a day when no one will be there. friday i went out to the golf coarse and did some fishing, caught 5 bass, all under a pound haha. they put up a nice fight for their size. i couldnt fish where i thought the bigger bass were, because those areas were actually on the golf course, and there was to many people golfing. not sure the next time i go out, but soon hopefully.

im not allowed so to speak to fish this one. really as long as you dont get in the way, and theres not many golfers, you can go out on the course and fish the ponds. when theres alot of golfers out, or you just come across some *sshole golfers, you have to stick to 1 pond, and only a certain side of it( theres houses that border the golf course, and theres a pond that is between the houses and golf course, and you can fish the bank of that one pond if theres alot of people there.) usually i try to go when the weathers not so good, or its a work day, so i can fish all the ponds, but that doesnt always happen. It also helps that my uncle lives on the golf course, so it makes things easier. it has very good bass fishing, its in a gated community so theres only about 2 other people i have ever seen fishing it.
