Alright last summer was pretty much my first year of fishing a lot and i tried a lot of different stuff. Ive never caught anything off of a spinnerbait or buzzbait tho, probably not fishing it right. But i fell in love with the senko and i caught a lot of fish. They are kinda expensive tho and dont last that long so i explored ebay and i bought some of the custom senkos. Just wondering if you guys have some input to wether they are good or not. Or should i just stick with Gary's.

I have yet to throw a senko, but I always have a Tiki Stick tied on and have caught a LOT of fish on them-they are a little more durable and less expensive than senkos.

Lot's of different brands out there, and I've used less than 1/100th of them LOL. However all of them do catch fish, just some different fall rates/scent/softness.

You can get a 3x version of it at the W. Incredibly durable, just as soft, saltier. I've caught 20 bass on the same one before, then put it back in the pack and reused it.

The only problem with the 3X baits is they get real sticky. Especially the lizards, which get so sticky they are almost unusable. They end up looking like a gob of plastic which remind me of a gummy bear on the hook.

FRIZZLE,
Try rigging a Yum Dinger in the small end,Texas style and imbed a small glass or brass rattle in the big end. When the Dinger undulates on the way down, the rattle will send off a sound that will entice the bass. JackL

JackL,
do you use the rattle in clear water too? or just stained? I try to avoid using them if the waters really super clear. |

I started using Tiki Sticks late last summer. They aren't much to look at - just a stick worm, but they have become a go to lure for me. Like the other brands, they are not very durable. I have been inserting a rattle in them lately because the fish are a bit sluggish. They need an extra incentive due to the cold weather. Yesterday, I caught two bass in deeper water near spawning grounds hopping the Tiki along the bottom the same as I would a jig. I used a split shot bullet weight to keep it near the bottom because all of the bass I caught were caught off the bottom.

Buy senkos from Bitter's!!! Hold up a lot better, catch just as many fish, and a fraction of the price, especially if you buy in bulk. Heres the link: http://www.bittersbaitandtackle.com/items.php?Cat_ID=1

I use www.alluringbaits.com trick sticks. The price for 50 4inch is 8 dollars. They last much longer than the senko. I stopped fishing the senko because the trick stick worked bait for me. Has a useful hook slot.
